We are continually working to develop the services that we provide to improve the experience for people who use our services, their carers and our staff.
Farnham Road Hospital
Currently we are working on a major service development for our hospital services. This long term project is commencing with building a new hospital on our Farnham Road Hospital site in Guildford, which is planned to start in summer 2012.

Community Mental Health Recovery Services
New borough-wide service in Elmbridge
We are integrating our community teams in Elmbridge to create a single borough-wide service and from 9 July the West Elmbridge Team will be located at the Joseph Palmer Centre in West Molesey.

New premises in Frimley
Our Community Mental Health Recovery Services for Surrey Heath relocated to improved premises at the Ridgewood Centre, Frimley in December 2011.
The new premises help us to provide safe, modern and efficient services and improved access to therapeutic groups to help people manage their recovery.

Workshops
We held four workshops with people who use services, carers and local stakeholders in January and February 2011 to talk about developing our Community Mental Health Recovery Services and what people would expect to receive from these services. Older People's Mental Health Services
We are implementing a number of changes to our specialist Older People's Mental Health and Dementia services. The changes focus on developing high quality, community-based services which support independence and promote personalisation.
