If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with dementia, you may be interested in watching our film, 'Living With Dementia'.
It was made in partnership with Surrey County Council, NHS Surrey, the Alzheimer's Society and the Department of Health and is available to watch in two parts at the Surrey County Council website.
The aims of the film are to provide support and information for families, carers and friends of people living with dementia and includes lots of interviews with people sharing their day-to-day experiences. (The whole film is around 30 minutes long.)
It also shows what health and social care agencies are doing in Surrey to develop dementia services as part of the Dementia Partnership Board Plan.
A limited number of copies of the film are available on DVD. For more information on how to obtain a copy, please contact the Adult Social Care team at Surrey County Council on 0300 200 1005 or email them on contactcentre.adults@surreycc.gov.uk.
