What happens when I contact Crisis Line?

You will speak to someone who understands mental health problems.

They will:

  • Listen to you and think about how to help.

  • Support and help you and the people who care for you.

  • Give you helpful information.
  • Speak to other services for you, if you want.

  • Help you to take control of your own life and come to your own decisions.

Will my call be confidential?
Yes. But we may ask your permission to pass on details to services that can help you more.

We may have to pass on your information if we think that someone is in danger of serious harm, or if there has been a crime.
