We are inviting residents of Surrey and north east Hampshire to attend our annual members’ day on 13 September at Trust Headquarters, 18 Mole Business Park, Leatherhead, KT22 7AD. The event will take place between 10am-2pm.

There will be a welcome talk and a summary of the past year from our new chairman, Dr Ian McPherson and our chief executive, Fiona Edwards. There will also be opportunities to put questions to our directors and clinical leads and meet our Foundation Trust members. Attendees will also be able to network with our Governors who represent their constituency, many of whom were newly appointed this year.

Workshops and presentations will be held throughout the event, including an interactive introduction to the practice of mindfulness and how it helps to reduce stress and improve wellbeing. Those who attend will also hear presentations on key projects taking place across the Trust, including the new Haven service, which launched in June of this year and offers 10-18 year olds a place to talk about things they are struggling to deal with. There will also be Positive Behaviour Support session run by our learning disability services and an informative update on Mindsight Surrey CAMHS, our innovative health and social care partnership for children and young people which launched last year.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore a range of market place stalls and meet clinical teams to find out about the latest projects and service developments happening at our Trust.
