Care Quality Commission

We provide ongoing support and recovery activities for people following involvement with the Community Mental Health Team.

The service has three main components - employment advice, a befriending scheme and network activities.

We promote social inclusion and recovery by supporting user led activities in addition to those that are staffed, offering a programme enabling access to community activities including: badminton, football and computing among other activities.

We also provide a befriending service where volunteers are matched with people who use services who are in need of friendship and support.

The service is based in Staines but is expanding to provide services to North West Surrey.

The majority of our staff team are "expert" patients - people who have or are using Trust services and now have paid or voluntary roles supporting and leading activities.
