Service Description

The Wellbeing Centre houses a number of mental health services for working age adults in the North East Hampshire and Surrey Heath locality

  • Personality disorders
  • Psychosis
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Self-esteem
  • Anger management

These specialist services were launched in 2008 and involve partnership working between Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, MHUD's (Mental Health User Development Service), Heathland's Citizen's Advice Bureau as well as local voluntary organisations such as Heart Voluntary Action and local service users and carers.Referrals are made through the trust's Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs), Inpatient services and Early Intervention in Psychosis teams.

Services there include group or individual psychological intervention, such as CBT based groups, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (for people with a borderline personality disorder), psycho educational groups (where you teach others / learn about your condition) as well as art and music therapy. Support to help people manage their condition, feel more socially included and recovery focused are available for a range of conditions including:
