Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) describes a range of effects that can occur in an individual who was exposed to alcohol in the womb.

It is estimated that between one and three percent of the population is affected by FASDs but as they are
under-reported and under-diagnosed, many sufferers grow up unaware of their condition.

Our FASDs clinic specialises in assessing and treating children and adults with FASDs. We also help people manage their conditions, with the aim of preventing secondary social and psychological conditions developing in the long term, such as social exclusion and mental ill health.
