Chaplaincy / Pastoral and Spiritual Care Services

Pastoral and Spiritual Care or Chaplaincy services, (also known as Faith services) provided by Surrey and Borders Partnership.

Who we are

We are a group of staff and people who use services (drawn from different faith traditions) who provide spiritual care and support to others who use services, carers and staff in their spiritual journey - whether in the community or on the wards.

What we do

Our aim is to support people to articulate their spiritual needs in order that these may be recognised and addressed.

We recognise the uniqueness of every person’s spiritual, religious and cultural journey and that everyone takes a different path to recovery. We will stand alongside and support people throughout their journey helping them to discern a way through their difficulties.

We do not interfere with medical treatment but offer therapeutic activities which take into account the body, mind and soul and value the whole person whether or not they have a faith.
