Enjoying any of the creative arts, including theatre, dance, music, drawing and painting, can help to reduce isolation and support community wellbeing.
Painting, drawing or dancing can be great fun and help to build self esteem whilst visiting galleries or the theatre can transform the way we feel – especially if that experience is shared with other people.
We know that, sadly, a lack of confidence can prevent people from getting involved so we work with local organisations to organise activities where the emphasis is on having fun and sharing our experiences rather than on ‘being the best’.
