Coronavirus Update

Due to the current coronavirus situation, we have had to change some of the ways our services work.

For the most up-to-date information about this and other services, please click here to check our coronavirus pages.

Information Alert

We will be developing a brand new website for the new emotional wellbeing and mental health service, working in partnership with the many users of the service to make sure it contains all the information needed, available in a clear and easy-to-access way to meet the needs of children and young people, parents and carers, schools, professional referrers and staff. For the time being, while we roll out the new service in a planned, phased way, this website gives you the latest information.

The transformation will introduce a new approach where children and young people will have a central voice in decisions about their care, and their needs will be met based on their goals. Children and young people will have more choice about their options, and more opportunity to access a range of services in many different ways.

We recognise children and young people do not want to always be seen in a clinic or a school setting, so advice and help will become more visible and accessible in the local community.

Our new approach and services are outlined in this section of the website. Please take a look and see for yourself how things will change for the better.

For now, there’s no need for you to do anything different

Our new approach will begin with phase one (April to September 2021); a phased approach will ensure we can keep families safe and well supported while we are introducing changes. In the short term, for those children and young people who are already receiving support from us, or are waiting for support, any support and treatment plans in place will continue.
