What is Coronavirus?

Coronavirus (also known as COVID-19) is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. There is more information about the illness and the symptoms to look out for on the NHS website.

What to do if you have symptoms

The NHS website has advice about what to do if you have symptoms of Coronavirus. This advice includes how to avoid spreading the virus to other people, and how and when to ask for help if you are unwell.

How to protect yourself and others

There are simple steps that you can take to help protect yourself and people that you care for. These include washing your hands regularly and staying at home.
