Service Description

The Haven is a safe place for young people to go and talk about their worries and mental health in a confidential, friendly and supportive environment. The service is a drop-in so there is no need to phone first or make an appointment.

Any young person aged between 10-18 years can visit so long as they are in need of emotional support or concerned about how they are feeling.

CYP Haven has a number of professionals who work there including a mental health nurse, a youth worker and a peer mentor.

Referral Process

You don’t have to call first or book an appointment; you can simply turn up during our opening times, which can be found on the website here.

Referral Criteria

Any young person can use the service as long as you are 10-18 years old and you are in need of emotional support because you are concerned about how you are feeling.
