Confidentiality & Information sharing
We have a legal duty to keep information about you if you use our services. We may need to share information about people who access our services with relevant Mindsight Surrey CAMHS partners in order to provide care and advice. This will only take place if we have received permission and it is considered necessary.
All Mindsight Surrey CAMHS partners who receive information about you are also under a legal duty to keep it confidential.
You have a right to see all the records we hold about you both on paper or by by computer, except for information that:
- Has been provided about you by someone else if they haven't given permission for you to see it
- Relates to criminal offences
- Is being used to detect or prevent crime
- Could cause physical or mental harm to you or someone else
