Service Description

Our CAMHS Crisis Intervention Service provides specialist assessment for children and young people presenting with deliberate self-harm at local CAMHS community teams or any of Surrey's general hospitals.

Referral Process

This is not a self referral service, we only accept referrals from health and social care professionals.

Our Crisis Intervention workers are available every day, including weekends and bank holidays, from 9am-5pm to provide specialist assessment to Surrey's five general hospitals if a child or young person presents with deliberate self-harm. 

To make a referral Monday to Friday please call our CAMHS One Stop on 0300 222 5755.

To make a referral on a weekend or bank holiday please call our switchboard on 0300 5555 222 and ask to speak to the crisis worker for your area.
