We are looking for people across west Surrey and Hampshire who want to contribute their passion and enthusiasm for helping people with mental illness, drug and alcohol addictions and learning disabilities to become a Governor.
Governors get involved in the strategic work of the Trust and play a vital role in holding the Board to account for our performance and contributing their views and ideas through joint working with the Board. Our Council of Governors meets quarterly to talk about our performance and to bring the views of local people to our developments and major change programmes.
“I am proud to bring the voices of people who use services, carers and young carers into shaping the Trust”
Janice Clark, Carer Governor
“I have had serious mental illness, worked for SABP for 20 years and been a Governor for 7 years and the role gives me a great opportunity to contribute my insight and experience to the work of the Trust.”
Jackie Clark, Public Governor for East and Mid Surrey
There are three public seats available for election this autumn:
- 2 seats for North West & South West Surrey
