The Frimley Health and Care partnership are looking for an exceptional individual to chair the ‘Integrated Care System’ (ICS) Board and the Non-Executive Assurance Group.

Since February 2018, NHS England and NHS Improvement have used the term ICS to describe local health systems in which local authorities, commissioners (Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS England) and NHS providers (Trusts and Foundation Trusts), working closely with GP networks and other partners, agree to take shared responsibility for how they deploy their collective resources for the benefit of their local populations.

We are undertaking a large scale transformation programme across the whole system, involving a wide range of partners from local authorities, health commissioners and health and social care providers, including wider stakeholders and partners such as the voluntary sector.

In addition to this large scale system change, the leadership team is also working to understand how a different governance system and way of working might facilitate bringing about the change and achieving a new model of health and care that is sustainable into the future.

We do this through an ICS Board made up of key partners, and an emerging governance system which includes a Non-Executive Assurance Group, both of which we are now looking for an independent Chair.

As Chair, you will work alongside our ICS executive leader to bring your expertise, wisdom, and vision for how integrated care systems might truly transform the health and wellbeing of our local residents.
If you have the skill, experience and appetite to support this major transformational change across health and care within the Frimley partnership and if you would like to discuss this role further, please contact jane.hogg@nhs.net.
