Getting to the Abraham Cowley Unit
The Abraham Cowley Unit on the St Peter's Hospital site, which is located between Woking and Chertsey close to junction 11 of the M25:
- Download directions if you are driving from the Elmbridge area
- Download directions if you are driving from the Epsom & Ewell or Mole Valley areas.
As with all hospitals, St Peter’s Hospital is a busy site and it can be difficult to park.
There is a small car park outside the Abraham Cowley Unit but we advise you not to park there between office hours: our staff park there and it gets very busy. You can usually find a space after 5pm, although we cannot guarantee this. If you can’t find a space at the Abraham Cowley Unit, there are pay and display car parks close by.
Using public transport
The nearest train station to St Peter’s Hospital is Chertsey (Guildford Road, Chertsey, KT16 9BG). Chertsey station is served by South West Trains, with services running from Clapham Junction, Wimbledon and Weybridge.
We advise you to board your train to Chertsey in the front four carriages – sometimes the trains split and it’s easy to miss the Chertsey stop. Listen for announcements or ask a member of train staff for advice.
The hospital is a 20 minute walk or a short minute taxi ride from the station. Bus number 446 departs from outside the station; the 557 from in front of William Perkins School (opposite the station).
Bus number 461 also serves the hospital.
