What is the study about?

The study is evaluating the clinical and cost effectiveness of Standardised Diagnostic Assessment (SDA) tool as an adjunct to usual clinical care in children and adolescents presenting with emotional difficulties referred to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

Who can take part?

Parents and carers of those aged 0-16 who have been referred to CAMHS for any emotional difficulties. If the young person is aged 11-15 they can also take part with parental consent. Young people aged 16 and 17 can take part and choose if their parent or carer also gets involved.

What is involved?

Filling in online questionnaires about the young person’s mental health and allowing the study team to collect data from your clinical notes.
