What is the study about?

TRIANGLE is a trial to examine whether the addition of a patient and carer skill sharing intervention improves long-term patient wellbeing following hospital treatment for anorexia nervosa.

Who can take part?

The study is assessing the potential effect of providing extra information for people with a diagnosis of anorexia and closes others (family, friends, etc.) to supplement usual inpatient care in the 18 months following admission.

To take part, you will need to be:

  • 17 years or older
  • Have been admitted to a Trust day care unit within the past 2 months
  • Have nominated study partner/support person
  • Have access to Wi-Fi

What is involved?

The study involves completing a set of initial questionnaires on a website and then completing further questionnaires throughout duration of the study (every 3 months, until 18 months after admission).
