Time for dementia is an educational programme where medical, nursing and paramedic students from University of Surrey will be visiting a family affected by dementia. The overall aim is to improve student knowledge, attitudes and empathy towards people with dementia and their care-givers.

This study will be the biggest of its kind and aims to improve the lives of people with dementia - and their carers - by looking at how smart technology placed in the homes of people with dementia can allow clinicians to remotely monitor someone's health and take prompt support if they begin to become unwell.
