What is the study about?
Time for dementia is an educational programme where medical, nursing and paramedic students from University of Surrey will be visiting a family affected by dementia. The overall aim is to improve student knowledge, attitudes and empathy towards people with dementia and their care-givers.
Who can take part?
People with diagnosis of dementia, living in their own households and available family carer.
What is involved?
Students will be visiting the family in pairs 3-4 times a year for 1-2 hours at time.
