KingsCollegeLondon.jpgThe Shared Study

The use of guided self-help in Anorexia Nervosa.

What is the study about?

This study examines whether a guided self-help intervention developed for patients with eating disorders (SHARED) is a useful addition to standard treatment for people with Anorexia Nervosa.

Who can take part?

Potential participants will have a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa and will have had their initial assessment with our community eating disorders service within the past 30 days. They should also be 16 years old or over.

What is involved?

The guided self-help intervention, developed by King’s College London, has three components: weekly “vod-casts”, a workbook and weekly access to a recovery coach. The intervention lasts for 6 weeks and the project involves several questionnaires to assess your progress.
