We are monitored by independent and NHS organisations to make sure we provide safe, high-quality services and use our resources effectively.
Our Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England.
It
monitors and inspects services to make sure they meet standards of quality and safety.
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is rated Good overall by the CQC. Our comprehensive inspection took place in 2020.
The CQC found that we had maintained the improvements identified at its previous inspection. All 10 of our core services were rated Good.
Inspectors highlighted our experienced senior leadership team and a strong culture of learning focused on the people who use our services. They also found that staff were caring and compassionate, and were passionate and proud to work for the trust.

NHS Oversight Framework (NOF)
In addition to CQC regulation, NHS England oversees our performance.
The NHS Oversight Framework (NOF) looks at performance across all NHS trusts, including access, effectiveness and experience, patient safety, workforce and finance.
Reviewed quarterly, the NOF placed organisations in segments from one to four, with four being the lowest.
Surrey and Borders Partnership is currently in segment three.
