People Group of members looking round the market place at members daypraised the work of our colleagues as 'inspirational' at our trust Annual Members’ Day earlier last week after listening to presentations about some of the great work taking place across our trust.

The annual event took place at 18 Mole Business Park on Tuesday, 7 October and was attended by more than 80 people – an increase on last year.

Chief Executive, Graham Wareham, provided an update on some of the trust’s key achievements in the last year. We also had presentations on our ground-breaking research and development work in dementia care; an update on Silverwood, our new mental health inpatient service and an overview of our mental health support in schools.

A trust member, said: “The speeches have been terrific. I can see the amount of work that is going on in the trust and I think the support for mental health in Surrey is exceptional.”

Another member said: “It’s been enlightening. I’ve really enjoyed the diversity of the presentations and seeing different aspects of what the trust does.”

Another added: “It’s been very informative, well-organised and thoroughly enjoyable.”
