Chief Executive Graham Wareham has been named by the Health Service Journal (HSJ) as one of the top 50 NHS trust chief executives in the country.
The HSJ judging panel make their decision based on the performance of the chief executive and the organisation they lead over the past year, and the wider contribution they make.
Welcoming the news, Trust Chair Aruna Mehta said:
“I am delighted for Graham, but not surprised. I know he will not enjoy this moment in the spotlight, but I see the difference he makes every day, and he deserves this recognition.”
Graham was appointed substantively as Chief Executive in 2022, having previously been our Chief Finance Officer and Deputy Chief Executive. Graham joined the Trust in February 2015 from Leonard Cheshire Disability, a charity which provides support for disabled people, where he was Chief Financial Officer. He started his career in 1995 with British Airways and then with food retailer, Safeway, working across a wide number of finance roles including supply chain, retail, operations and change management.
