The Intensive Support Team for Older People delivers high quality, specialist assessments and interventions to people with dementia whose behaviour significantly challenges themselves and / or others. The team consists of staff from a wide range of backgrounds, including nursing, psychology and occupational therapy.
The team is an extension of the Community Mental Health Teams for Older People and accepts referrals from those teams directly
