Out of Hours Contact

We provide a free 24/7 mental health crisis line for children aged from six years, young people, and their families or carers who are in crisis. Please call 0800 915 4644 to talk with a professional who will provide advice, support, and signposting to a range of community services. It’s open all day and all night, seven days a week. 

Service Description

Our Community Team provides assessment and treatment for children and young people from age 5 to their 18th birthday with moderate to severe mental health needs requiring specialist intervention. The team also completes some neurodevelopmental assessments for those with moderate to severe mental health needs.

Referral Process

GPs -  Please use the Electronic Referral System (eRS) to make referrals.

All other health, education and social care professionals - Please use our online referrals portal for mental health referrals.

Referral Criteria

5-18 year olds with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
