Enhanced Observations and Therapeutic Engagement Policy: Appendix 4 Competency Checklist

As part of local ward induction all inpatient nursing staff and practitioners need to be assessed as competent to undertake supportive therapeutic observations, this assessment should be completed by a registered band 5 nurse and above who have also completed the competency framework.
