The Safe Haven in Aldershot moved to new, permanent premises in Aldershot on Tuesday 26 July 2022. The new premises are at Walpole House, Pickford Street, Aldershot GU11 1TZ.
The move to Walpole House has been planned for some time however, unexpected delays outside of our control have meant the service has been located at temporary premises at 8 Andover Way since February of this year. From 6pm Tuesday 26 July, the service will operate from Walpole House with no disruption to service.
Opening hours at the new Safe Haven premises will be 6pm-11pm, Monday to Friday, and 12.30pm-11pm on weekends and bank holidays. The Safe Haven will continue to offer a virtual service as well as an in person one. You can connect to the Safe Haven virtually, during the above opening times.
The new premises is located around 5 minutes’ walk from Aldershot’s bus station and its train station. Free parking is available from 6pm on Ground Floor and Level 2 of High Street multi-storey car park, GU11 1SD.
Our team, Safe Haven partners, NHS Frimley, and third sector providers, Catalyst and Andover Mind have worked hard to get the new building ready to support people this July.
