Our Chair, Aruna Mehta, has been successfully appointed as the new Chair of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest centres of ophthalmic treatment, teaching and research in the world. Aruna will continue in her Chair role with us at Surrey and Borders, with the separate Moorfields role starting on Sunday, 1 November 2026.
