Service Description

Jasmine House at Primrose is a Short Breaks (respite care) unit service and can provide a short break for up to six adults at a time with a learning disability and complex health care needs.

The service is on the ground floor and has 6 bedrooms, all with profiling beds and ceiling tracking. All bedrooms have a TV/DVD and sensory projectors. There is also a state-of-the-art sensory room, lounge/diner, kitchen where meals are cooked from scratch,  garden, bathroom with an Arjo bath and hoist, and a walk-in shower room with a ceiling hoist, shower trolley and shower chair. 

Jasmine House provides a person-centred planned short break to those known to the service. We do not provide emergency admissions to those unknown to the service.

Referral Process

We accept referrals from families, Care Managers & GPs. For referrals, enquiries, or to have a look around, please contact Jasmine House and arrange with the Manager or Deputy.

Referral Criteria

Adults aged 18 years and above with a learning disability, living in Surrey with health care needs. If there is availability, we will consider referrals from out of area.

If you, or someone you care for, is experiencing a mental health crisis or needs urgent support, help is available 24/7.
