Please call 0800 915 4644 to talk with a professional who will provide advice, support, and signposting to a range of community services. It’s open all day and all night, seven days a week.

Service Description

Our Crisis Intervention Service provides specialist assessment for children and young people from age 5 to their 18th birthday, in crisis presenting at any of Surrey's District General Hospitals (DGHs).

The team offers seven-day follow-ups and short-term treatment sessions in the community.

Referral Process

Professionals can contact our Early Help team if they have a child or young person in crisis. The team can be contacted on 01252 335 600, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

This is not a direct request service; we only accept requests for support from health and social care professionals. Young people who are in crisis can be directed to us when presenting at any of Surrey’s District General Hospitals (DGHs). Young people and their families can also be directed to us by their local practitioner.
