What is the study about?
This study is exploring whether it is possible to use in-home health monitoring devices to support the management of long-term health conditions.
Who can take part?
You may be eligible to participate in the Resilient study if you meet the following criteria:
- You are aged 65 or over.
- You have a diagnosis of two or more long-term health conditions, which may include (but are not limited to): Arthritis, Chronic Kidney Disease, COPD, Heart Disease or Failure, Depression, Hypertension, Parkinson’s disease
What is involved?
This study spans two years and includes:
Using three health monitoring devices: a smartwatch, scales, and an under-mattress sleep mat.
Devices Provided at No Cost: The research team will provide these devices for free during the study period and will assist with setup and usage.
Regular Check-Ins: Every three months, you’ll complete questionnaires focused on your memory, overall health, and wellbeing.
Health Reporting: Data collected will be shared with both you and your healthcare team in a personalized health report.
Follow-Up Care: Your healthcare team will review your health report and reach out if they notice anything that requires further attention.
