Colleagues raise over £4,000 for our Trust charity with 21 mile walk

Congratulations to the team of 12 colleagues, past and present, who raised over £4000 for our Trust Charity with a 21 mile walk.

The team trekked 21 miles on Sunday 4 October through the Surrey Hills to mark the 21st anniversary of our Trust.

The walk team was made up of:

  • Graham Wareham, Chief Executive Officer
  • Robinia Wareham
  • Lorna Payne, Former Chief Operating Officer
  • Jo Lynch, Former Chief Nurse
  • Julie Gaze, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer
  • Carol Pearson, Non-Executive Director & Deputy Chair
  • Bernie Topham, Non-Executive Director & Senior Independent Director
  • Denise Day, Non-Executive Director
  • Rachel Robertson, Patient Safety Partner & Governor
  • Rebecca Holden, Governance Manager
  • Amy Crellin, Quality Lead
  • Laura Courtnage, Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer

The aim of the ‘21 for 21’ campaign is to raise money to help fund 21 specific requests from inpatient and day services across the Trust.

The funding will go directly towards enhancing the care, comfort and experience of people who use our services, from therapeutic equipment to garden improvements and wellbeing resources.

Lila Dowie, Head of Fundraising , said: “Walking 21 miles to celebrate 21 years of our Trust was a fantastic way to bring colleagues together and test the feasibility of holding an even bigger event as we work towards our 25th anniversary.”

A big thank you to everyone who walked, donated or supported the team along the way.
