About the network
The Black, Minority and Ethnic network is open to all racial groups as defined in the Race Relations Act 1976 and aims to create a supportive working environment for everyone.
We encourage attitudes and behaviours that are positive towards BME staff and inspire employees from all backgrounds to be the change they want to see in the Trust. Your voice should be heard and we support you to speak out with confidence.
Our priorities
- To look after the welfare and development of our members
- To ensure proportionate representation of BME staff at senior levels of the organisation
- To improve the experiences of BME staff
- To enhance relationships between staff and BME people who use services
