In 2015 over 6000 people died by suicide in England. That is nearly 17 people every day. Sadly, we know that around 30% of people who take their own life have not had any contact with mental health services.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men aged under 45 and it is really important to our Trust that we develop a suicide prevention strategy that includes the voices of those with lived experience of suicide.
