While we’re busy preparing to temporarily close the Abraham Cowley Unit in Chertsey at the end of April, the design for the new hospital continues at pace.

We’re now ready to look at the interior design which will transform how the building looks and feels for people staying, visiting, and working in the hospital.

Over three workshops, we will explore colour schemes, furnishings, artwork and much more. We’re looking for participants from a variety of backgrounds to help us including colleagues, people who use our services, people with lived experience, families, and carers. We need a consistent collective voice, so you would need to attend all three workshops.

The workshops will be held on:

  • Wednesday 6 April, 9.30 am – 11.30 am via Teams
  • Wednesday 27 April, 11 am – 1 pm via Teams
  • Wednesday 18 May, 9:30 am-11:30 am, Addlestone Community Centre, KT15 2NJ (meeting in person subject to Covid restrictions)
