As we continue to deliver our Property strategy, the focus moves to the central Surrey region. With the timing of lease expiries, buildings reaching the end of their useful life and the next phase of land disposals, we have embarked on the transformation of our community and corporate estate across central Surrey.

We have identified a new location for an Epsom hub for community services and are working with the teams who will be moving into here to make sure we understand their requirements and agree timescales. This new hub will provide a more modern and welcoming environment and will be more accessible by public transport and for those with additional needs. We expect that community services will operate out of the new Epsom hub from early 2021.

Our current Leatherhead hub needs considerable investment to ensure that it meets the needs of the Trust and reduces its negative impact on the green agenda to allow us to use the building well into the future. We also want to adapt how we currently use the building so that community and corporate services can operate from here in future. With the need for new heating, ventilation and lighting, a modernised reception area and additional parking, we will be temporarily decanting from December 1st 2020 to make way for the refurbishment. We are moving into two other buildings, Leatherhead House and Unit 5 on our current business park for up to two years.

Our new addresses in Leatherhead will be: Third Floor, Leatherhead House, Station Road, Leatherhead Surrey KT22 7FG and Unit 5, Mole Business Park, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT22 7BA.
