2025 has been an incredible year for our trust – made possible by the dedication and teamwork of colleagues, partners, people who use our services, their families and carers across all services.
Together, we’ve continued to improve care, strengthen partnerships and create new opportunities for people across Surrey and North East Hampshire to live well.
Highlights from across the year:
- Silverwood, our new £45 million mental health inpatient service in Chertsey, officially opened. Designed with input from people who use services, Silverwood offers a modern, therapeutic space for people needing specialist mental health care.

Our annual Staff Awards celebrated colleagues who go above and beyond, with winners recognised across a range of categories.

Our New Leaf and STARS service held an art exhibition, highlighting the powerful creative work of children and young people supported by our services.

Our Samaritans Brief Intervention and Carers Programme teams were recognised nationally, winning at the HSJ Patient Safety Awards for their innovative approaches to support.

Our Mindworks School Based Needs team presented at our second Select Committee event, demonstrating the positive impact of mental health support in schools.

The St Ebba’s Therapy Garden was highly commended at the BBC Make a Difference Awards, celebrating the garden as a space for wellbeing and recovery.

The Recovery College held its annual RecoveryFest, which increased sign ups to the service and helped promote the wide range of mental health support available in the community.

Our SUN (Service User Network) team co-hosted a national symposium, bringing together SUN groups from across the country to share experiences and learn from one another.

A new partnership with the Well Life Clinic to help adults in Surrey access ADHD assessments sooner, improving care pathways and reducing wait times.

We launched our trust’s Green Plan, setting out how we will support the NHS ambition to reach net zero and build a more sustainable future.
