Free trauma-informed training for crisis and emergency services

We offer free trauma-informed training and support to people working in:

  • Urgent and emergency care services
  • Mental health crisis support services
  • Services supporting carers of people in crisis

This includes teams such as:

  • Police
  • Safe Havens
  • Ambulance services
  • A&E departments
  • Mental health inpatient wards

To be eligible, your service must support people living in Surrey or north east Hampshire.


Not eligible for free training?

If your team doesn’t qualify for our funded offer, we can provide a costed package tailored to your needs. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

If you are not eligible for our training and would like a brief introduction to understanding trauma and a trauma-informed approach, you may be able entitled to access an e-learning package produced by Health Education England:

This is a helpful introduction to trauma and trauma-informed approaches.


Are you an adult interested in learning about trauma?

If you live in Surrey or north east Hampshire and want to explore trauma and trauma-informed approaches, you may be able to join a session through the Recovery College. We occasionally run joint courses with them for the wider community.
