There are excellent transport links and London is easily accessible by rail. Being located between two international airports - Gatwick and Heathrow - makes holidaying easy and major roads including the M25 are nearby.

Surrey is home to exceptionally beautiful countryside and plenty of attractive green space. If you enjoy cycling, running, walking or just picnicing with your family it is the perfect place for these activites. It is the most wooded county in England with extensive footpath networks. We have the stunning Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding beauty, and famous spots like Box Hill. There are picturesque villages such as Abinger Common, Shere (where The Holiday was filmed) and Ripley.

If it's impressive buildings you like then Surrey has a wealth of stunning National Trust properties including Polesden Lacey and Shalford Mill. And in the summer the social scene is dominated by the annual flower shows at Hampton Court Palace and RHS Wisley which offer a blooming(!) good day out.

There is plenty to see and do from museums and gardens to theme parks and race tracks. And if you get bored of all this then Surrey isn't far from the coast. It's easy to get away for some sea air and a change of scenery.
