What is the study about?


The study aims to understand people’s thoughts about physical activity in order to develop and validate four new questionnaires to assess this. The study also aims to test whether these thoughts are predicted by a number of psychological or physical health factors.


Who can take part?


Participants must be aged 16+, have a diagnosis of non-affective psychosis (i.e., schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, delusional disorder, psychosis not otherwise specified), and must currently attend NHS adult secondary mental health services. 


What is involved?


Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire about thoughts on physical activity and will be supported by a researcher during questionnaire completion. Participants will receive £10 for their time.
