What is the study about?
AD Genetics studies the genetic contributions of early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease (onset pre-65 years) to inform molecular biology, epidemiology, biomarker and clinical research.
Who can take part?
Those with a diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease and availability of a “study partner” (spouse, family member, friend or carer).
What is involved?
The study involves one appointment with two of our researchers lasting approximately 90 minutes. At this appointment we will conduct cognitive assessments and take a blood sample. At the same time your study partner will be asked a series of questions particularly regarding the onset of your symptoms. Unfortunately we are unable to provide individual feedback on genetic investigations.
