Our core purpose is to work with people and lead communities in improving their mental and physical health and wellbeing for a better life; through delivering excellent and responsive prevention, diagnosis, early intervention, treatment and care.
All the information you need about working for us, recruitment, job opportunities and careers within mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services in Surrey and Hampshire
Our research and development aims are to embed a vibrant research culture within our Trust, increase the opportunities for people to participate in research and ensure that our research benefits people who use services, carers, families and our communities.
Our membership is varied; some of us have a disability, impairment or long term condition, others provide support to ensure that everyone gets the help they need - but everyone is welcome. We give advice to anyone who needs it and provide a place for people to discuss their experiences of living and working with a disability, impairment or long term condition or caring for someone who has a disability impairment or long term condition. There are many disabilities, impairments or long term conditions some are obvious and others are not so visible. They can affect us mentally, physically or both. What is important is how we and others understand and appreciate each other.
The group meets quarterly on the first Wednesday of March, June, September and December from 10am until 12 noon. Our meetings are currently taking place virtually via Microsoft Teams.
