  • Multiple entries for an individual or team will be combined and scored as a single entry

How to nominate a person or team?

  • Nominations must be made on the Staff Awards electronic nomination form on the website and completed in full.
  • Each nomination must be submitted on a separate form for one category only
  • Nominations received after the closing date will not be considered

The Judging Panel process

  • Each award specifies the criteria that must be met in order for an individual or team to be successful. The judges will carefully assess each nomination to identify those who have shown themselves to be exceptional in fulfilling this criteria.
  • The judging panel is required to reward excellent contributions. Therefore if submitted nominations do not meet the expected standards, they may choose not to make an award at each prize level.
  • The judging process may result in nominations being reallocated to a different category. This will only be done if reallocating in this manner increases the chances of the nomination being successful. For example, a person may be more suitable and they may have more success if their nomination for the inspirational leadership category is reallocated to the clinician of the year category.
  • There will be a maximum of three winners per category. It is at the discretion of the judging panel to award less than three winners in each category.
  • The decision of the judging panel will be final.  No correspondence will be entered into regarding their decision.

Who can attend the awards?

  • Individuals shortlisted for an award will be invited to attend the celebration dinner on Thursday 16 May 2024 (the venue is to be confirmed). They will also be able to bring one guest.
  • Teams shortlisted will receive a maximum of five seats at the dinner, no more, to be allocated at the team’s discretion.
  • Nominators of shortlisted individuals or teams will be invited to attend the awards ceremony.  If numerous nominations are received for the same shortlisted individual or team, the writers of the two most compelling nominations will be invited to the ceremony.
  • Nominators have the right to remain anonymous, i.e. their names will not be disclosed to the person they are nominating, if they so choose.  Please make it clear when completing the nomination form that you do not wish your name to be disclosed to your nominee.
