Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trusting is inviting local residents to participate in its annual Staff Awards to help recognise those who have gone beyond the call of duty in supporting people who use its services.
Any member of staff at the mental health and learning disability trust can be nominated. The 2020 Staff Awards include 11 categories, which are listed below. As well as championing the outstanding work of staff, the Awards also recognise the important contributions of volunteers, Governors and partners.
Fiona Edwards, Surrey and Borders Partnership’s Chief Executive, said: “Every day, colleagues provide compassionate and inspirational care to people who use our services. These awards are an opportunity to thank and recognise this, celebrate new and innovative ways of working, and showcase their tremendous efforts.”
Nominations for the Awards are open until 5pm on Wednesday, 18 March. The winners will be announced a special celebration evening on Wednesday, 17 June.
The award categories are:
- Employee of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Quality Improvement Leader of the Year (open to managers and non-managers)
- Acute, Urgent and Emergency Services Employee of the Year
- Community Services Employee of the Year
- Social Care Employee of the Year
- Support Services Employee of the Year
- Partner of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
