Service Description
Please check your appointment information before travelling. Several of our services are based in the area around the former West Park Hospital site and may have different addresses.
The Meadows is a single storey building in the grounds of the Noble Park housing development in the former West Park Hospital site in Epsom.
This is a 24/7 hospital service with 24 beds available for the care of people aged over 65 years who have dementia or organic mental ill-health (i.e. decreased function due to medical or physical disease, rather than a psychiatric illness).
There are three single sex wards, each with eight beds:
- One ward is for people with mental ill-health (functional, e.g. bipolar or depression)
- Two wards are for people with dementia.
We are a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists and psychology support.
