Dr Mudunkotuwe qualified in medicine from the University of Southampton in 2000. He trained in psychiatry as a doctor in South West London and Surrey. Since 2010 he has been a consultant psychiatrist at Epsom Community Mental Health Recovery Service. He is a locality tutor which involves managing the training of doctors and medical students.
