We are always happy to answer questions or help with any concerns or queries you may have, but you may find our frequently asked questions helpful. If you can't find the answer to your question(s) please get in touch with our friendly team.

Who are courses open to?

Our courses are open to anyone who lives in Surrey or North East Hampshire who:

  • is aged 18+
  • wants to improve their health and wellbeing
  • has a physical and / or mental health condition(s)
  • is a family member or carer of someone who has a physical and / or mental health condition(s)
  • works in a voluntary or statutory organisation and wants to learn more about recovery.

Where do courses take place?

We offer courses at a range of venues across Surrey and North East Hampshire such as libraries, community centres, church halls etc.

How much do courses cost?

All of our courses are free unless otherwise stated.

What happens if not enough people enrol?

Unfortunately we can't run a course if there aren't enough attendees. We will let you know if this is the case with a course that you have booked on to and, where possible, we will offer you a similar alternative.

Will I be able to take a course if I had difficulties with learning at school?

Yes! Our courses are aimed at a range of students. Some rely on reading and writing more than others. Please contact us to talk about your individual learning needs and to discuss which courses may be most suitable. Our staff can also help you to develop a learning plan to support you.

Can I bring someone with me?

It is ok to bring someone with you but we do ask that they also enrol and participate as a student. We encourage friends and family members to attend courses separately in order to fully engage and make the most out of the course you are attending.
