What is the study about?
VISION-QUEST aims to develop and validate a new questionnaire of appraisals of visual hallucinations. The study also aims to test whether the occurrence of appraisals of visual hallucinations are predicted by a number of psychological mechanisms.
Who can take part?
We are looking for individuals aged 16-65 who have been diagnosed with non-affective psychosis (e.g., psychotic disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder) and who have experienced visual hallucinations within the last month.
What is involved?
Participation involves completing a questionnaire on your experiences of visual hallucinations, which should take a maximum of 1 hour. Participants can either complete the questionnaire independently online or with the support of a researcher. Participants are compensated a £10 voucher for their time.
